When
the
Avon Park Coca-Cola Bottling Company was
dedicated circa 1920, the facility featured The
World's Largest Coke Bottle.
It measured 25 feet
tall and eight feet in diameter. Made out of
concrete and a steel frame, the bottle took
eight working days to construct -- and a lot of
muscle, sweat and stamina. The building -- and
the bottle -- were destroyed by fire in 1976.
